Dr. Daniel Austin earned his medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at Heritage Valley Family Medicine Center. He also completed an internship at UPMC Mercy prior to his residency.
Dr. Austin says that he became a doctor because he found medicine to be fascinating, he enjoyed solving problems, and he wanted to help people. Today, he remains a primary care physician for those same reasons, but now he adds the satisfaction it brings to build relationships with patients and to manage their care as their PCP.
Outside the office Dr. Austin enjoys music, soccer, exercising, taking naps and walking his dog Odie.
