Dr. Frank Civitarese graduated from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine with a degree in medicine and completed his residency in family practice at Latrobe Area Hospital, Latrobe, PA. Specializing in family practice, Dr. Civitarese is certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice and is also board-certified in geriatric medicine.
Dr. Civitarese holds memberships in several organizations that include the American Academy of Family Practice and is on the boards of the Pittsburgh Regional Health Initiative and Preferred Primary Care Physicians, where he has been board president since 2007. He is a past recipient of the St. Clair Hospital Physician Recognition Award. In addition, Dr. Civitarese has been involved in conducting a wide variety of clinical trials since 1998.
Outside the office he enjoys traveling and camping.
