Dr. Kevin Kotar earned his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, and returned to Pittsburgh to complete his residency training and a family medicine internship at UPMC St. Margaret.
His professional memberships include the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians, Pennsylvania Medical Society, and the Allegheny County Medical Society. Dr Kotar was Chair of the Department of Family Medicine at St. Clair Hospital and a member of their Medical Staff Executive Board. At PPCP he has served on the Board of Directors and as an Associate Medical Director.
When not at work, the doctor enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, visits with family and friends, and, like many of us, wishes for a way to slow down time when he is with his wife and kids.
