Dr. Prasanth Prabhakaran, a member of our hospitalist team at St. Clair Hospital, completed a residency in aerospace medicine at the Institute of Aerospace Medicine, Bangalore, India and a second residency in internal medicine at UPMC McKeesport Hospital in Pittsburgh. Before joining PPCP he served for ten years as Hospitalist, Medical Director of the Transitions of Care and Geriatrics Unit at Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, Massachusetts.
Dr. Prabhakaran has also completed fellowships in both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Society of Hospital Medicine.
